PAYMENT TRANSACTION DETAILS.

Restscene Payments collects details related to your payment transactions through the Restscene Platform, including the means of payment, date and time, the amount paid, means of payment expiration date and billing postcode, IBAN information, PayPal email address, your address and other relevant payment details. This detail is required for the adequate performance of the contract between you and Restscene Payments also enable the provision of the Payment Services.

DO-NOT-TRACK SIGNALS

    • Our response to requests that were made by you or the host you made the reservation with.
    • Reminders of non-completion of your online reservations if applicable.
    • Sending you a questionnaire or inviting you to tell us your experience with our platform or our host.
    • Sending you administrative messages such as security alerts.
  • For marketing communications this includes
    • Sending you Restscene products and travel-related services that we believe may be of interest to you via Email. However, If you wish to opt-out of receiving marketing communication from us, you may do so by following the unsubscribe link in the email communications, or by contacting us.
    • Depending on your information, we may develop and display content and advertisements tailored to your interests on the Restscene Website and mobile apps including our social media platforms.
  • Guest reviews; during and after your booking with Restscene, we may require you to submit a review of your experience with the host or the destination you visited. By submitting a guest review you agree that it can be displayed on (as described in detail in our terms and conditions) the relevant host information page on our websites, our mobile apps, and our social media accounts.
  • For Promotion of a safe and trustworthy service: we may use personally-identifying information to detect and prevent error, fraud, and other illegal/ criminal activities thereby creating a trustworthy environment for you, your fellow users, and host. Thus promoting a safe and trustworthy service
  • For Legal purposes: in certain situations, we might use your information to handle and resolve legal disputes, for regulatory investigations and compliance, to enforce the terms and conditions stipulated for booking on our platform, or to comply with legal requests from law enforcement.
  • To determine users' interest in the goods and services we offer through our platform.

HOW DOES RESTSCENE.COM SHARE YOUR DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES?

  • THE HOST YOU BOOKED
    In order to facilitate your booking, we transmit relevant booking details to the host you have booked. Depending on your type of reservation, these details can include your name, contact details, payment details, the names of guests traveling with you, and any preferences or other information you specified when you made your Reservation. If you have any inquires regarding your reservation, we may contact the host and ask them to handle your request. In situations where reservation-related disputes occur, we may give the relevant host your booking details as needed to handle the dispute. These details may include a copy of your reservation confirmation receipt as proof that a Reservation was actually made.
  • THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS
    We may share your Personally-Identifying Information, with our authorized service providers who support us in providing services like
    • Prevention and detection of fraud services
    • Customer support
    • Market research

    • Payment services:

    • Our authorized service providers process payments, handle chargeback, or provide billing collection services. When a chargeback is requested for your reservation by either you or the holder of the credit card used to make your reservation, we need to share certain reservation details with the authorized payment service provider and the relevant financial institution to handle the chargeback. The data sharing is necessary for the performance of the contract between you and us and is based on our legitimate interests in providing the Restscene Platform globally.
  • BUSINESS TRANSFERS; BANKRUPTCY.
    If Restscene is involved in a merger, reorganization, acquisition, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of its , Restscene reserves the right to transfer all Personally-Identifying Information in its possession in connection with such transaction or contemplation of such transaction. SOCIAL MEDIA

Restscene uses social media in diverse ways. We use it partly to advertise, improve, and facilitate our goods and services as well as the promotion of our Host's travel-related products and services. Restscene provides its users the option of linking their social media account to their Restscene account to sign in; they can also unlink their Restscene account from their social media anytime they want to. Whenever you log in to Restscene through your social media, your social media provider may allow you to share some information with us; if you choose to share, your social media provider will inform you of the information to be shared. Each social media provider may allow you to set privacy controls around your information on their system.

CHILDREN

The minimum age of a Restscene user is 16.
